Payaa hotel in Pattaya has 24 hour check in. You have the room for 24 hours from the time you check in. Also the breakfast buffet is open until 4pm

Video suggestion: compare Thailand to Cambodia, Vietnam and Philippines. Lots of people seem to want to try out those destinations, not knowing much about them.

It amuses me that while you are generally correct, I've experienced exceptions to your advice. Beautiful Thai women don't always flee Isaan. I met a stunning one playing music in the evenings at my hotel in Khon Kaen a few years ago. I've also experienced a Thai woman trying to scam foreigners. At least, I'd call it a scam. She approached me at a ferry wharf, offering to provide a guide to take me to Wat Arun, at maybe 50 times the cost of a ferry ride! (It did happen to be where I was going, but I refused her and just bought a ferry ticket.)

Good video. For the person arriving in Bangkok around midnight, just book a hotel in Bangkok and then catch a bus in the late morning to Pattaya. It will cost less than the Grab ride.
