  My dad passed on September 12th this year and I prayed with this YouTube that whole morning.  He had such deep peace….his final words, with his hands reached towards heaven were “Come Jesus come, I am ready!” I am so grateful that you continue to have this version on your channel and for your ministry. I’m sure it brings comfort to thousands of people throughout the world , daily! God bless you!  Jesus, I Trust in You!

  Today is July 2026 and I feel so down and depressed as I recently lost my job and its so hard to juggle everything as a single mom. And I suddenly caught myself singing this song and lay everything to God&apos;s hand. Life is hard. But I know God has better plans. Thank you Lord God Jesus.

  Please say a prayer for my family I have a grandson whose going thru surgery procedure on his heart and he&apos;s 7 my nephew is suicidal. My daughter has bad diabetes and I&apos;m going thru a lot I been sick for 11 yrs and my family has been going through a lot my sister has stage 4 kidney failure and she plays this song and played it for me and I cry everytime I play it I love u Jesus please heal me and my family

  I’m not Catholic but I heard this on EWTN and I’m so happy to find it here. I enjoy singing along with it and it brings me peace. I’m looking into joining RCIA as soon as possible. 2 months later…I’m in the RCIA and enjoying it. April 8, 2023 I JUST GOT CONFIRMED!!! 🥳<br>EDIT: I’m now assisting with the RCIA class. 2024: Sent this link to the RCIA class.

  I was raised in the evangelical church and it was really bad. A lot of kids in my church got hurt including myself and my siblings. I was angry at God for a long time — or who they taught me God was. Spent a long time running, angry, hurt, and with a vendetta against the church. This is the song I was listening to when God grabbed ahold of me. I’d made a Catholic friend recently and we’d had a lot of conversations about God, things I hadn’t been able to talk to anyone about since leaving the church as a teenager. We were sitting in a coffee shop downtown and he played this song for me. I completely broke down right there. I’ll never forget the feeling. The only thing that comes close is my daughter’s birth, though that day, listening to this fiercely gentle plea for mercy, it seemed I was attending my own. That was some years ago and I cannot believe how my life has changed. After hanging on through darkness that felt like it would last forever, the sky is starting to lighten. I’m seeing the seeds pushing above the soil. My heart is healing. It’s melting. I see God’s promises to me starting to come true and I am moved. I’m moved to mercy. I’m moved to compassion. I am moved to devotion through empathy. I read recently about St Teresa of Avila being pierced by the angel and that seems an apt picture for my heart. This love aches and burns but I never want it to end. May God enable me to be merciful with the world as he has been merciful with me. Matthew 5:38-48

  If anyone is praying this and in your charity would like to remember me, I&apos;d be so grateful. This prayer means so much to me. I&apos;ve had the most difficult few months of my life and I don&apos;t know how to cope.. I am having so much difficulty opening up to Jesus. Thank you so much 🥺
