I loved the Supremes...all of them together  but I always loved Florence  Ballards voice the most. Her voice was so powerful and just filled with emotion. I still love their music!🎉

This is a trivia that most people don't know! I found out that before Diana moved into the projects(keep in mind that usually the fathers were also in the home during this time when the projects first came out in America) Diana Ross, Smoky Robinson and Aretha Franklin were neighbors on the same street! Also this was an upscale neighborhood in Detroit. Detroit was a very nice city to live in. Was!

Let's face it, most successful bands break up. From the Beatles to Led Zeppelin, the Commodores and Lionel Richie to the Supremes and Diana Ross. The difference with Diana Ross is if she stayed a Supreme, she would have sunk down to nothing like most girl groups did when the 60s ended. She needed to be on her own for herself and her fans. To me, she's the best live entertainer I've ever seen because she truly cares about every fan sitting there. And you feel that. I've seen probably at least 30 live shows, with the last being a couple of years ago. She's never disappointed. A true legend.
