Obviously the people in charge of her care who worked for her son wasn't feeding her properly or cleaning properly. Because when she left his care she gained ten pounds. And, any will done after Dementia diagnosis is real shady.. The grandson was right. 105 is a long life.

So many parents are neglected during their times in need . Sadly those that abuse and neglect them are the very ones that want everything. So very sad .

Read the book "Mrs. Astor Regrets," whose author speaks in this documentary. Brooke was not mother of the year, but Tony did steal millions.

Most of it was already donated by the time she died. Around 40 million was left. In 1997 she liquidated the Vincent Astor fund which was worth $195 million.

I remember when this broke in the news!! her and her son's relationship was not the best and they both took advantage of each other, but in the end he and his wife turned out to be evil, greedy duo, that took advantage of her age and frailty! Thank God for her grandson!!

Did she not have a homemaker or someone preparing her food? People with a fraction of her income have someone like that to help them. Food prep is what CNAs do as a part of patient care. It sounds like she had a lot of support with nurses and CNA’s. So who exactly was dropping the ball?
