  Great job. After watching this video, tackled a griddle just received from a neighbor that had not been used for 3 years. Broke out my grinder and wham bam, looks like a new silver dollar. Thanks

  I have a love hate relationship with my Blackstone. Hard to use frequently enough to avoid rust, but breakfast, stir fry, and Oklahoma onion burgers are such a pleasing experience.

  Thank you for the video! My neighbor put a Blackstone griddle exactly like that one on the corner for trash pickup. He only had it for a year but never covered it or took care of it.<br><br>He told me that it was junk. I did exactly what you did and was cooking on it that night.

  I spent about 3 hours trying to clean a griddle cooktop and just barely scratched the surface. I got to thinking and grabbed my paint stripper wire brush and attached it to my cordless drill. WOW! I wish I had thought of that 3 hours earlier! Then I came across this channel and was happy to see I wasn&apos;t the only one with that idea. I&apos;m definitely headed to Lowe&apos;s to get one of those wheels for my angle grinder!

  I just did this to my Blackstone. &nbsp;I used an 80 grit polishing wheel. &nbsp; It seasoned better and it’s more smooth than it was when new. &nbsp;Mine wasn’t rusty though. &nbsp;It was just built up with seasoning that was cracking and peeling off. &nbsp;The angle grinder and polish wheel is the way.
