Why do the parents in these stories believe they have the right to redistribute their children's property to the favourite child just because they have kids, so the lesser seen successful child must give up what belongs to them for said favoured child's comfort? So because u don't discuss your business with dad, he decided to give his preferred son the use of your boat without asking or telling u about it. That's not borrowing, it was theft. Report it and let the law deal with them. They saw your boat and saw $ signs and assumed that all he needed to do was take the boat, and run a business without a licence and everything else he would need to do before advertising about the service they planned to provide and without insurance. To make things easier, u should've just take back the boat when u went to look at it. "Don't be a buzzkill" will come back to haunt your brother real soon. Entitlement is going to land his ass in prison. Thinking about operating a business and running one properly are 2 very, very different things, especially without the things necessary to run said business legally. U did tell Troy that he can't run the boat without various things in place and he waved u off. His karma is due to him and dad and Kelsey, and it was the only way they would both learn to stop taking from u, to give to Troy and his family just because they have kids, and needs the help, without dad asking and just expecting everybody to fall in line to give them whatever help they supposedly needed. I enjoyed listening to this. Excellent story!!!
