  The biggest warning sign was that, just weeks before launch, both the head of legal and financial (the departments that would have to deal with the fallout of financial losses) left.<br>They obviously didn’t, nor couldn’t, say anything about why, but just that timing makes it seem like they knew what a disaster it would be.

  The fact that Mindseye was supposed to be the next GTA, but you can&apos;t even commit grand theft auto in the game, is hilariously bad. I know that people dog on GTA a bit because the mission requirements are sometimes strict, but if a mission in GTA V requires a fast car, for example, you can choose any car, as long as it&apos;s fast enough, so you still have agency, Mindseye forces you to use only one car, and at least GTA V was playable on launch.

  I feel so bad for Alex Hernandez. The guy is a genuinely good actor who just keeps getting the worst gigs from his agent. Between Mafia 3 and Mindseye, this guy needs to be given SOMETHING good to work with!

  You know, I feel bad for the actor for the main character in Mindseye. He&apos;s a great actor who has an unfortunate pattern of starring in games that are divisive at best (Mafia 3, The Walking Dead New Frontier). I think he recently quit the gig, it&apos;s a shame.

  The investors get the money. &nbsp;The company gets money from investors to pay for development, hires a bunch of devs, spends everything up until release, fires a bunch of devs after release, and the investors get paid back with the money from sales. &nbsp;Then the cycle repeats with fresh graduates filling in for the people who leave the industry due to the horrible job security.
