  Fun fact: Before joining the Daily Show, Stephen Colbert was a regular on the Strangers with Candy TV series produced by Letterman's Worldwide Pants Inc.

  My father had his heart valve replaced last month.  Thank goodness the cardiovascular doctor caught it in time.  He said my father’s heart valve was leaking and very diseased.  Medicine and technology together are wonderful!  They put the new heart valve inside the old one, and it started working right away.  The doctor didn’t even have to cut through the chest to put it in.  They went through the groin, which less infection and less time in the hospital to heal.  Amazing!

  It&apos;s so easy to forget that CBS was among the last to enter the late night game. NBC &amp; Steve Allen started the genre in the 1950s. ABC put on Cabot over a decade later. Even FOX &amp; other startup networks tried late nights before CBS capitalized on the Letterman/Leno feud to start a late night show. <br>So CBS was really &quot;last-in/first-out&quot;.<br>Somehow, it&apos;s oddly fitting.
