The fact that a lot of the “Jacob being mean to his wife” so far is Jacob aggressively telling Julia to be nice to herself and make her life easier is very on brand lmao

2 comps, totaling like, an hour, and still no “do you know what a rectangle is.” That just goes to prove what a monster Jacob is

7:25 Diversity Win: husband of beloved artist Julia Drawfee proves that even men can be/fill the toxic nagging wife stereotype. Men can truly be and do anything.

i think the whole reason this is so funny is because we KNOW how much they love each other and how much he adores Julia, i think its most exemplified in the clip in which she delightedly giggles "hes upset with me!"

I love the healthy couple stage where they just start to go “what are you fucking talking about, that’s nothing, I tire of your antics (affectionate)”

the reason these jokes are so funny is because no matter what comes out of his mouth he still has fondness in his eyes when he says them or looks at her and that’s the difference between a joke and malice 😭

the fact that i read this as "julia being mean to her wife jacob" and that felt MORE correct, gender-wise really threw me for a loop

I love that, in context, the hospital bracelet clip is between Julia explaining how Jacob was making her dinner while she gamed, and then tenderly walking her to the car and driving her to said hospital.
