I spent a day on Teshima, a beautiful island about 35 minutes by ferry from Takamatsu Port, and it completely surprised me. With quiet countryside roads, rice fields, small villages, and the Seto Inland Sea surrounding the island, it feels incredibly peaceful. From cycling through the countryside to the stunning coastal road near the Teshima Art Museum, the island was full of beautiful little moments. No crowds, no rush, just bicycles, farmland, sea views, and island life. If you're planning a trip to Kagawa and want to experience something beyond the usual tourist spots, Teshima is definitely worth adding to your list.
