  I believe that there actually was a large spike of players because of his review and people referred to it as the "Sseth Wave".

  People were mad about the Ssethtide in SS13, but honestly it was nice having actual high population servers and new people around.

  Space Station 13 and 14 are very fun and you can find a ton of well made story videos on yt. SS14 is not a sequel btw, it is developed by different people and a lot of things differ content wise so people also still play 13. You can check out Liltenhead for a different view into SS14 for example, he spectates antagonist rounds, for example try out Nukie Spectating Round 106 or Round 105
