  I think the reason why this season took this direction is because Matt and Trey were constantly getting shafted during negotiations with Paramount in recent years and were eventually paid $1 billion to make several seasons. Around the same time, Paramount was trying to do a merger and needed Trump&apos;s approval for it. Seeing a opportunity for revenge, the creators made this season mocking Trump to get him pissed off at Paramount.<br>Edit: Nvm it was $1.5 billion

In the South Park movie, the main villain was Saddam Hussein and they made him Satan’s lover. They also gave him this very same voice and floppy head. They make this especially clear with Trump accidentally saying that he bombed Iraq. It’s meant to be silly callback for longtime fans while also serving as a not so subtle way of highlighting the traits that Trump and Saddam have in common.
