Love my F91-W. My daughter wears it sometimes too and likes to set the alarm. It’s literally the least scary watch to wear if you’re worried about scratches. Agree with everything else you said. I cringe when I see a 48mm invicta with a 1/2” wide crown.

I wear a Dive watch only 40mm. I have never Dived in my life. However I do use it to time everything from how long I have been out with the dog to how long long the spaghetti has been boiling.

I think the funny thing is the tank, Hamilton and the Casio would cost $5,000 would be a honest man’s 3 watch collection and that’s all you’d ever need for your whole life.

The latest Hamilton Field Khaki has a 70hr power reserve. This has been achieved by reducing the frequency of the movement and thus it's energy requirements. Unfortunately this also reduces the accuracy. Every Khaki movement previously could be regulated by carrying out two adjustments, firstly by putting the watch in beat and secondly by adjusting the rate. You cannot adjust the latest watch as it has no regulator. It's rate is set at the factory. Mine looses time and for a military watch this is unacceptable.
