Dude this is really cool. I spent money I couldn't afford to spend on 4 pcbite probes, but sometimes you need more. With the paperclip this is definitely old school hacking.

Im still looking for an all around decent eeprom reader and software.. most things these days all have a mc and some kind of memory supporting chip which eeprom is usually the cheap selection seeing on how you can have chips of all different sizes..
