Wait... All this time AOE meant Anime Original Ending!? All this time I thought that it meant Area of Effect. I thought that everyone were joking that Rumbling is AoE...

I will never forget the day when people on r/titanfolk were unironically theorizing that Eren is still on Paradis and is connected to his Founding Titan body through a kilometers-long underwater cable.

1:47:05 actually unhinged that people think Eren's world-wide genocide "gets children out of the forest" considering that one of Eren's defining scenes is literally about two kids getting crushed and burned by his rumbling

One thing worse than believing that AoT is fascist propaganda is believing that AoT is fascist propaganda and thinking that's a good thing.

Wow, this was a comprehensive retrospective, summarising the themes of the text and putting all of my frustrations with this side of the fandom into words. Thanks for also acknowledging the genuine issues with the narrative and clumsy use of imagery, too.

And you didn't even need to touch upon Eren's super plot-critical anti-natalist half-brother.
