I also see Maynards sense of humor. By creating these lyrics causing everone to "Overthink" the lyrics and "Overanalyze"...its like we all got "Punked" by Maynard!

Keep going with your Tool reactions and I will keep watching you. I’ve been watching reaction videos since the beginning of this platform and it has changed so much into it being a money making platform. I rarely find reactors that do it for the simple joy of experiencing artists outside their norm. What’s so frustrating is how fake their reactions are and are simply oohing and ahhing from people who pay them to react to their recommendations.
I am so glad I found your channel and I can tell you are genuine with your reactions and give very honest feedback. Keep up the good work. I will watch more of your content outside of Tool.

I’ve seen hundreds of Tool reactions. I’m the biggest Tool fan since the beginning. Your reactions are the best

He was in the middle of his spiritual growth thru this and a couple other albums. His mom's condition drove his path of enlightenment. He was in awe of her faith despite her situation.

You must attend a Tool concert. As fantastic as many stereo's and headphones are now a days. NOTHING compares to the live show. Feeling every beat reverberating through your entire being. It's magic. I HIGHLY recommend it. Also, Parabol/Parabola next. It's a 2 part song.

“Everyone may believe a higher being even if that’s not a deity but simply a better version of yourself tomorrow. That’s still a higher being to imagine and aspire to be.”

What a profound fucking thought. For an agnostic or atheist. That’s 🔥

So many reactions to this song I've watched. This is absolutely the deepest I've seen anyone go. A few are up there, but bro, you're poking at angles here that I've never looked at before. Thank you.

I've been a fan of TOOL for 25 years, maybe a little more. The fact that I can still listen to songs and albums like lateralus and still hear new things or different interpretations of their music is what makes TOOL special. I'm sitting here tearing up listening to a 20 year old song from a little bit different perspective. I think I've watched maybe 4 of your react videos to TOOL songs and you have nailed each one. I don't think there is a "correct" interpretation for any song but the little rabbit holes you go down from time to time and explanations are fantastic.

As a huge, lifelong Tool fan ("from the first EP, back from '92"), i love watching new fans unfold in real time. I remember what it felt like finding Tool, and the ways that their music moved me on so many levels. Watching that same reaction in others gives me goosebumps all over again. Many reaction videos appreciate the visceral reaction they have to the music, and the intricate production and instrumental complexity, but you're the first I've seen who really digs deeply into the lyrics like you do, and you do an amazing job of picking up what they are putting down, but also allowing your own personal interpretations to have play their part as well.
