I think Suzie was just trying to get the investigator into the room with Gabriel, kinda like a "you may see our leader/boss now"

I just don't understand how it starts off as really good analog horror series then seemingly ends on a video where apparently William, Henry, and an associate have machine guns and sic Foxy on this officer like an attack dog in a random abandoned mall. It just made no sense, torpedoed what was a really good start to the series in favor on some looney tunes shenanigans. It's a real shame since paranormal activity is legitimately one of the best Fnaf analog horror tapes of all time with such a nuanced take on the ghosts of the children rather than just the song and dance of "OOOOO camera man visits Freddy's! Camera man sees haunted animatronics! Then...HE DIES!!". I genuinely wish we had a scene like this in the fnaf movie with how much potential there was. The acting, the ghost responses, someone genuinely trying to help the actual kids' spirits and the kids reciprocating that help, and even trying to warn him when William makes his entrance and guns down the guy. Nothing against Spectre, just the last one wasn't great but I hope they're doing alright.

One series I personally love and suggest you could do a deep dive on is Jake Ryan Southgate's First Night as Freddy series, It's not Analog Horror or VHS, but it doesn't need to be, it's like one of those really good netflix shows. The changes he makes to the lore is really interesting, he's really mixing up the formula

kind of amazed you didn’t bring up the “mandatory suicide” section of the instructions in the maintenance report tape lol (as far as i’ve seen in the vid, anyway)

it reads:
“4. Mandatory Suicide
If you’ve made it this far you’ve seen too much. At this point, the animatronic should become fully aware and hostile because of your recent tamperings. Accept your death with open arms because the door is now locked and you can/will not escape from this room. Even if you somehow manage to evade this situation, do not think you have saved yourself because I will know. Do keep in mind I know where you and your family live. You must realize by now that suicide is necessary”

and the rest is illegible. my favorite part of this is that the steps before this all use “We” (i.e. fazbear entertainment) while here it suddenly changes to “I”
