At last! A young pianist who doesn't crash and bang her way through Chopin. What an exquisite, lovely sound she produces. For those who seem to prefer the harsh, over-the-top shredding of so many other players desperate to make their "mark", listen again to the fantastic balance and tasteful subtlety of this fine player's performance.

Again we can see (as in Beethoven's 5th) that Ms Gómez Lasheras' trademark is making her piano sing wonderfully, not rushing through the score. She make sure all notes and chords are well balanced; there is plenty of subtlety in this interpretation; thank you for sharing this video.

These concerts are wonderful. A gift to all of us during unpleasant times. People who want to give beauty rather than create unrest and ugly controversy

The Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21, is a piano concerto composed by Frédéric Chopin in 1829. Chopin composed the piece before he had finished his formal education, at around 20 years of age. It was first performed on 17 March 1830, in Warsaw, Poland, with the composer as soloist.
Rosalía Gómez Lasheras (born 1994, in Santiago de Compostela) is a Spanish pianist. She studied at Santiago Conservatory, and at Utrecht Conservatory (The Conservatorium is a Conservatory of Music in Utrecht, Netherlands- opened in 1875 and is one of the eldest professional musical education institutes). In 2013 she won the Young Pianist Foundation competition.
-Wikipedia

Oh my god, I weep with emotion at the delicate touch and the beauty of the sound, this young person will certainly grow up to be one of the great ones on the concert stage.

Not only does this beautiful woman's playing ability amaze me, but she does it from memory. I feel so small next to talents such as these.

Such brilliant musicality is difficult for us mere mortals to understand - how a pianist can perform such a complicated piece with such rapid notes and not miss any? And, do all that from memory, end-to-end, the whole multi-movement piece? Totally marvelous! Thank you for doing all this fine work, and for posting this video! Yes, bravisima!
