  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiuUJ58bDIs&amp;t=439">7:19</a> i think what they should&apos;ve done is had <b>bart</b> rekindle the rivalry- maybe he gets paranoid abt bob plotting something that is 100% not the case; then it&apos;s revealed that foiling bob is one of the few parts of his life bart feels like he has control over (maybe play up the insecurities revealed in bart gets an f). Wit this in mind, bob follows along, pretending bart thwarted whatever dastardly scheme he tootally had. Return him to his performer roots, as it were.

  Having sideshow Bob be the main character in his episodes is pretty funny considering his name

  i think the problem with sideshow bob is that in the later era &quot;wanting to kill bart&quot; became like his only character trait.<br><br> Looking back at the original seasons i was amazed to find there was only one episode(cape feare) where killing bart was his main goal, the two other times(Last Gleaming and Jackanapes) he also attempted to kill bart but he was used as a device to get to krusty.

  as someone who has never seen the Sideshow Bob neighbor episode, they definitely did NOT have to make his face falling off a running gag.
