  I've seen at least 60 of these videos and they're so painful to watch, yet so important. The pattern that these kids follow is almost identical. It usually begins in middle school - 13 to14 years old and escalates from there. There are usually some stints in inpatient and outpatient rehab with mixed results and return to use. I've seen my own son follow that exact same pattern. He's 18 now and my wife and I have been living in fear for the last four years. It's terrifying and it's always top of mind. We hope and pray that he makes it through this and has a productive and happy life.

  My Zack passed from fentanyl poisoning on January 26, 2024, so I truly understand your pain Amy. 💔 I’m so deeply sorry that any of us have to walk this road. From what you’ve shared, Justin’s story sounds so much like my son’s. <br>However Zack also struggled with mental illness that developed in his mid 20s. I believe so many who turn to substances are really just trying to cope with pain or struggles they may not even fully recognize. No one wants to become addicted, and no one chooses that kind of life. My heart breaks for you and your family. I’m holding you close in love and prayers. ❤

  Those doctors completely underestimated that poor kid’s cravings that would come back, they should have put something in place that would give him instant access to the medication again if it was too much for him.

  I&apos;m so very sorry for your loss. I loved listening to you both sharing what a funny and sweet guy he was. ❤ You guys are absolutely making a difference sharing Beanos story. Addiction is devastating. I&apos;m a recovering addict and I&apos;ve been clean for almost 9 years and I never thought I would make it out. My whole family are also addicts..most are recovering or have passed now. It&apos;s such a HORRIBLE thing. I wish so badly this never happened to your baby and to your family. 💔

  This mother has &nbsp;empathy for addicts, with an understanding of addiction that many people don&apos;t have. I wish everyone could hear her and her husband&apos;s touching narrative.
