  Newquay Airport is one of those oddities where thanks to its ex-RAF status a tiny airport with a tiny number of flights actually has a runway long and wide enough for 747s, A380s and even Concordes and space shuttles.

  I love Loganair. By far the best regional airline I&apos;ve flown on. Their crews are universally lovely.

  I often fly Norwich to Sumburgh via Aberdeen. The timing usually means several hours waiting in Aberdeen, but it&apos;s quite a nice little airport to spend time in. As for Shetland, well. it&apos;s just amazing. So thanks for covering it, Noel. And yes, you&apos;re right about Tunnock&apos;s

  This is so bizarre to me. You can fly across most of Canada in 5 hours. Newquay to Shetland is only the same distance as Windsor to Quebec City, which is a couple hours flight time at most

  I have delivered to the Tunnocks factory in Glasgow lots of times the drivers always and I mean always get a large present of biscuits given to them it&apos;s a very very well-run company with the emphasis on the employees. Once employment is found with Tunnocks it&apos;s for life few if any leave there are not many businesses like that anymore. Great vid Noel.

  Hello Noel. My late hubby was an air traffic controller at Sumburgh before his transfer to Manchester airport. My brother was a air opps manager, also at sumburgh. I spent many flights up and down, mostly from Aberdeen airport. Lovely memories.
