  I also had a varied church background growing up and ended up in the Lutheran Church. I’m very happy here.

  I am LCMS within the last two years. But I enjoy hearing everyone’s conversion story regardless of denomination. God bless you both and your show.

  I made the journey to the evangelical catholic (Lutheran) confession some years ago. &nbsp;Most Christians have read very little of the primary texts of their denomination, let alone the other camps theological texts.<br><br>Everyone assumes they are correct. &nbsp;In reality, each is following their own conscience. &nbsp;Only Christ knows which camp is correct and or mostly correct in their public confession. &nbsp;Each individual Christian should keep reading and studying and ask God for wisdom.<br><br>I am content with the position of the Book of Concord that there are other Christians in other groups. &nbsp;And, that the Bible is the only infallible rule by which we judge doctrinal development and the claims of all fallen creatures. &nbsp;As the Writ says, test the spirits; hold fast to the Gospel as delivered by the Apostles, even if an angel should appear and say otherwise.<br><br>Peace to all. &nbsp;May God have mercy on us.

  Lutheran fan here. I&apos;d love an episode on sacraments and, no surprise, Jacques take on a normal Lutheran service.

  As a Lutheran who spent a good amount of time going to non-denominational churches and holding typical non-denominational views, Megan&apos;s scrupulosity to the supper definitely makes sense as a practical outcome of the memorial view. Even though I did not have this same struggle in refence to the Lord&apos;s supper, the theology behind it leads to that possible hesitancy. It was once pointed out to me (in a Lutheran podcast, I&apos;ll admit) that since the memorialist view holds that nothing of benefit is delivered through the Lord&apos;s supper (ex: forgiveness, Christ&apos;s crucified body/blood, etc), but still does present the possibility of bringing judgment on yourself, why would you ever be excited to take it? I would be curious to hear from someone who holds the memorialist position on what they say are the &quot;benefits&quot; of the Lord&apos;s supper, and how they are received.<br><br>PS: I must say I am impressed with how well spoken you both are. It shows to me Megan it took a lot of thought and prayer to come to your conclusion to convert to Lutheranism. Now I know what Scrupulosity and caricature mean! haha

  When I saw the interview with Bryan Wolfmueller, I wondered if Megan would look into the Lutheran church. &nbsp;I really love listening to Pastor Wolfmueller speak. &nbsp;I was raised Pentecostal but joined an ELCA church a couple years ago. &nbsp;I am definitely more aligned with confessional Lutheran doctrine but there aren’t any options near my location. I do like the people in my church and feel blessed to be there.
