  I do like the mini cutscene of the loser getting back up between rounds. It's a little thing but makes a big difference in its presentation.

  Notice how there isn't a dramatic shift of the camera to a different angle every 10 seconds, and players don't spend long stretches of time watching combos that never seem to end? Notice how at every moment of the game both players are making decisions at fast intervals and not just sitting in blockstun guessing on a 50/50 or trying to step and getting clipped by hitboxes 20x the size of the move? Makes you think.

  Unfortunately Michael doesn&apos;t give a fuck. He has his own vision to let scrubs compete with best players.<br>I feel like after that Aris incident he probably went to devs and told them to double down on BS.

  Both T6 and TT2 look incredible when upscaled in the emulator

  T6 ran on a proprietary engine using octave physics. T7 and T8 runs on Unreal.<br><br>The color palette is much more vivid in T6, along with a distinct motion blur, and visual bloom. Octave physics also allowed for cool intricate things like seeing your footprints in the snow, in T7 you don&apos;t see much of anything unless you get knocked down. There&apos;s also the lighting, the character lighting in older Tekken games are much different and the stage plays a big part in that. <br><br>Just look at stages like Electric Fountain, Gargoyle&apos;s Perch, and City After Dark here you have subway carts in the background and the lighting changes as you get closer to the giant neon lights on the sign. Then you have cool stages like Hidden Retreat with the sheep that are just fun to play in. The lighting reflections on the characters made the scene more immersive.<br><br>None of that stuff is in T7 and T8.

  Went to Japan with a bunch of Southern California players to play T6 Arcade right after SBO. That shit was so goddamn fun. <br><br>I will never travel for T8 as is.
