I loved Jitsu and Fisto as a kid. I dug their similarities and differences along with finally having Asian representation in my figures.

Turn a negative into a positive.
Have Slamurai and Ninjor have a rivalry like Sub-Zero and Scorpion!
Or Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow?!

The Turtles of Grayskull take on Ninjor is pretty awesome!

They're dope ass figures. They were defiantly my favorite out of the line. The 80's was all about ninjas and martial arts. Let's take off the h.r. department glasses.

The Four Horsemen Jitsu design was so awesome! I wasn't collecting toys around that time, but I appreciated seeing the sculpts at conventions.

I can't believe that Ninjor was promoted to penultimate villain for MOTUrtles out of nowhere and got one hell of an upgrade to boot; talk about rising form humble origins.

When I was a child, I didn’t think of stereotypes at all. I just thought Jitsu was a cool character with a fun play feature.

Plus, he was a good opponent for Fisto.

5:42 I am glad you included 80s generic Asian bad guy Al Leong. I always thought Jitsu was based on him specifically since he was in every action movie back then.

Why'd they give dude an Infinity Gauntlet...? 😆. I had Jitsu, and remember being annoyed with the backwards handguard on his sword (or else wondered if it was supposed to be a backward blade curve).

Never knew about Ninjor, must have been after my time with MotU. 🤷‍♂️

Wow, the more I hear about the German MOTU stories, the more I wish they'd be translated in English and released in a full collected book. For Jitsu in particular, this explains his heroic side shown with the New Eternia figure.

Apparently Jitsus real name is Sum Ting Wong.
