  same test meter that the inspection electrician showed me last month during the inspection!he said that he was charged a thousand pounds for it much to his anger!I would love to have one of those meters!that is actually more expensive than the huge six hundred pound televisions or a nice family car!contracting legionnaires disease by setting the boiler or immersion heater to cool or like warm.who knew that eh?bacteria!which could be fatal!many many people could easily fall into that trap ,trying to bathe in tepid or barely warm water!that warning should be put on every label and sticker,glued onto the heater or boiler!

  Thanks for the video. I got a reading of 069.2 ohms instead of the required 19.1 I&apos;m guessing the element will need replaced?

  i have a water immersion heater that has two wires so i presume two elements in it one with temp guage like one u got and the other is 1-5 on it no idea what or why? can youhelp i got feeling i been leaving both on 24/7 electric only household and no economy 7 just single rate electric.

  Great video. Simple and straight to the point. Just curious is it possible to run these elements with an AC voltage which is not a stable 240volts? Say if its fluctuating 150v etc...

  That heater design hasn&apos;t changed in 50 years. &nbsp; Main problem is that they run hot, wires can melt and the whole fitting must be kept uncovered from all lagging. &nbsp;It would be better if they were rated 2Kw and not 3Kw.
