  If you notice she looks sad the whole video. The video's director said it represents depression and suicide. It's part of a trilogy of songs.

  The kiss looked realistic because it is actually Axl’s girlfriend during this time. There was no love triangle 😂, Slash just went to play his guitar solo. Slashes guitar solo outside the church and on the piano are iconic.

  Good reaction, ladies. &nbsp;But, just to explain the video, it was actually the 2nd part of a 3-part song/video series by GnR. &nbsp;Anyway, the story is that Axl Rose&apos;s character had a fiancée, but he cheated on her and she ended up taking her own life with a gun. &nbsp;The entire wedding scene is him dreaming of himself and his then-alive fiancée actually getting married. &nbsp;But that wedding ceremony never actually took place. &nbsp;What actually took place at the church was her funeral rites. &nbsp;Also, regarding the fiancée&apos;s casket, that mirror in there is next to her face since she took her own life. &nbsp;That practice (with the mirror in the casket) is an old Catholic custom, if I&apos;m not mistaken. &nbsp;I&apos;m Catholic, but I only vaguely recall that, so I&apos;m not 100% certain…lol &nbsp; <br> <br>Also, hinted at in the music video is the fact that friends are there for you during the happy times, as symbolized by the packed wedding and wedding reception. &nbsp;But &apos;friends&apos; are not there for you during the hard times, as symbolized by the sparsely-attended funeral service.

  As a young man that married my one true love of my life that I dreamed of since I met her in High School as a sophomore but we never dated then. &nbsp;A few years after we graduated she was getting a divorce and we happened to run into each other and I asked her out …. After dating a couple of years and our love growing to that wonderful place I always thought it &nbsp;would some day, we got married on a beautiful sunny cool November day. &nbsp; &nbsp; It was the best ten years of my life as we had two children and we had the most loving and happy family together. &nbsp; &nbsp;But with having kids and the distractions of me working a lot , I sensed we both were drifting away from each other and our relationship was not as strong anymore. &nbsp; &nbsp;Then she decided that she no longer loved me and didn’t want to be a mother or wife anymore and wanted a divorce … and we were then divorced on another November day , but instead of a bright sunny day , it was a cold and dark rainy November day ! &nbsp; The perfect metaphor for my love and so many other loves is this song ! &nbsp; The beginning of a new love is bright , warm , fun and loving, just like this video when the sunny wedding day was showing this to be true …. Then when the darkness and cold November rain starts , it’s a metaphor for when the love is now dying , doubts are forming and finally her death in the video is the final metaphor for their “ Love and Relationship” was now Dead too ! &nbsp; &nbsp; Thus the lyrics in the song …”Nothing last forever, even cold November Rain” &nbsp; That’s how this song fits my life perfectly 🤷🏻‍♂️

  November Rain... Slash said when they were shooting the shot with the helicopter it scared the heck out of him it came so close.

  This song brings back so many memories. I was in the Army and stationed in Seoul South Korea and the MTV Video Music awards was on AFN. Guns and Roses performed this live with both Axel Rose and Elton John on 2 grand pianos. <br>I had my barracks room door open and was alone while watching. By the time this song ended I had a room full of soldiers watching. It was such a new song and we were all stunned how good it was. At the time this video was made, it was the most expensive music video ever produced. Thanks for a trip down memory lane!
