  I found that if I want to “start a new world” I’ll grab some basic supplies to start a farm, bit of materials, and head off somewhere entirely new in my world. Start building from scratch in a fresh untouched area is no different from where a new world would drop me. And if I want or need things I can go back to my bases. Or make a massive integrated system to connect things. Then start decorating and make things along the way; then there’s always something to do. But I don’t need to keep loading up new worlds to do so.

  I fear I can never open a forever world in hardcore, I will 100% die in the first 15 minutes of gameplay by doing something dumb

  My forever world is actually technically my parent&apos;s world. My mom, dad, sister and I started a realm back when realms first started. That world is so cherished for me. Theres so much history; friends we&apos;ve made and lost, builds showing how my sister and I have grown (watching things evolve from cringey dirt huts to actual builds lol), seeing interests grow and fade. I had a son of my own 6 months ago. I&apos;m looking forward to letting him wander through this example of my childhood someday, and maybe he can spend some bit of his there too.

  I feel like one big reason I&apos;ve seen for people quitting their forever worlds is the misconception that you have to log on every single day. It&apos;s perfectly okay to take your time and build your world at a pace you want, as well as taking longer breaks. I had an intense week long obsession with my Minecraft world 2 years ago and would play it whenever I could, and then got bored. I came back to it a few days ago and I&apos;m taking my time now because I love my world and don&apos;t want to give it up again.

  I think it&apos;s also too important that no matter how long you have been in one world, you can still throw everything in a chest, head off with a boat and a bed, and restart somewhere new. As long as you have the willpower, you can start over the grind somewhere new and keep that &apos;new world&apos; feeling over and over again in the same world. It&apos;s not like you ever get to fully explore the whole map!

  Started my latest world with a roleplay in mind. Got a journal to write in and all. I make and expand stuff to fit the lore in my head, making it look lived-in rather than Pinterest picturesque <br><br>Because it&apos;s a roleplay, playing in the moment matters more than finished projects. I don&apos;t plan on ever showcasing it. It&apos;s just for me. Like a private journal

  I think your approach to a forever world is spot on! I think the best advice I can give that has helped me with my forever world is to find people to share it with whether that be a partner, a friend, or through content creation! I think putting your forever world into videos like you do can really help motivate returning :)

  I&apos;ve had the same world for 6 years. The few times I felt I want to start a new world I pack a few shulkers with some essential items to help me get started, grab rockets, put on my elytra and start flying at random direction until I see somehing cool I&apos;d like to work with. Back then the perfectionist in me barely tolerated my clumsy old builds but now is cool to visit different eras of my builds. I also like leaving behind lots of items so its nice to go on supply runs if I need something specific. Also planning on taking apart a massive deepslate castle I built when the blocks first released and reusing it for a new build.

  Sometimes the iron farm will stop working when there’s too many iron golems in the area, your iron farm should be further away from the village since the villagers have their own iron golem it’ll mess up the iron farm thinking there’s already an iron golem
