We Found Why More RVers Are Switching to HDT Trucks

☞ 👀 Is towing with a Heavy Duty Truck (HDT) really worth it? Today, we are unloading our custom HDT truck and taking it back to the shop for some necessary repairs after 2 years of full-time travel. If you've ever wondered about the cost of building a truck to tow a massive custom 54ft RV, or what goes into a heavy-duty truck conversion, this video breaks it all down! IN THIS VIDEO: We take our rig back to Hall Haulers to meet with owner Jessie and handle some minor maintenance. While we are there, we get an exclusive tour of the other projects in their shop, showing just how versatile these heavy haulers can be. We’re also getting real about the numbers, sharing the actual prices of modifying a truck like ours and discussing the specific challenges we faced during our build. Whether you are looking into a big truck and big RV setup or just love the mechanics of towing heavy loads, we share the pros, the cons, and a typical day in RV life as we prep our truck for the shop.
