I can’t believe they can let their children believe their father was dead… so cruel

Best true crime YouTuber out there. No distractions, just information. Clearly well read and informed on each case. Thank you for properly respecting the victims and their families.

Those who tried to rescue a “dead” man are heroes. They jumped quickly into action even though it’s a shame that they wasted their time and resources without knowing it was in vain.

So you’re telling me.. dude faked his own death, came back to the town he disappeared from, and started going by the same name and same birthday as a means to hide his identity…? :|

If I fake my death and successfully get away with it for 5 years you're never seeing me again.

What’s awful about this story is that allot of the RNLI are volunteers, doing this because they are good people, and getting a call like this (thinking there could be a guy in the water and they don’t know where) is really a distressing thing for them to hear. They dealt with that stress of waiting to find a body for 4 whole days

Just a PSA, heard a couple of US YouTubers say 911 as the emergency line for countries that aren’t the US. And thought it would be good to clarify that it’s 999 in the UK (where this case is), and the numbers differ in most countries. Just don’t want anybody caught out if they are in a bad spot.

Awesome work, Kendall. Love all your stuff.

The subtitle to Anne’s book is SO unhinged… “my journey from ordinary housewife to Canoe Widow, Panama, and prison” 😂💀 imagine seeing that in a bookstore with no context

Dude took “hide in plain sight” to a new level. How sad that the sons were lied to and the waste of time/resources of ppl that looked for him. The whole scam is just crazy.

John renamed himself John… this guy is a freaking genius! I truly can’t believe he wasn’t caught before turning himself in. I bet his sons would like to send him on a permanent canoe trip. 😂
