  1. Slow moving vibrato.<br>2. Use edginess.<br>3. Add your unique pronunciations - experience and have fun with this.<br>4. Add husky tone.

  First thought, she ain&apos;t all that. All of a sudden she modifies into jazz style and I am like, holy crap, that woman has her pipes sorted out!

  Idk if this will make sense. But I’ve been scouring the internet to find how people get that 40’s-early 60’s sound. With the more trans-Atlantic accent and the quicker vibrato that’s added at the very end of notes and words. Kinda like Marilyn, Rosemary, Doris etc. this is the closest I could find! Thank you!

  I adore Jazz with every cell of my body and soul. I love their way of singing. Its endlessly creative, so colourful, edgy, smooth, gentle (or hyper:) And jazz singers are a story tellers. Jazz has a soul. A meaning. And its so unpredictable. Ive been longing to start jazz singing lessons for yeeeears now. I hope i can do it one day. When life happens in its most toughest way, your vocals become more flexible. And i can hold my &quot;shaky&quot; voice so much longer. More emotions, more voice. And not everybody can understand it and accept it. But we need to treasure it as much as we can. <br>Love to all of you. *

  This helped me so much. My director &nbsp;has been getting very frustrated with me because I&apos;m not good at singing jazz and this video helped me tremendously
