Good on Sherwood for taking the time to explain to the client what was going on in a way non car people can understand.

Too many times have I seen customers come in with a clapped out car, have us do a service, and blame us for things caused by their neglect of the vehicle. This is why I do a full print out of codes with freeze frame date on EVERY car. Saved my butt many times.

Your videos are not just for mechanics. I prefer real-life videos of real work by real people more than any tv production. You have mysteries, puzzles, and problem solving. No one I know will show me what's inside a car, something I depend on and spend so much money on. You are a good teacher. You help me know what to expect from repair shops. And, wow, you have to know so much. Thank you

It adds an interesting human dimension when the owner is willing, and it’s appropriate, to include footage of them in the video. Really enjoyed watching this one.

I've seen this scenario so many times.

Some friend of a friend fixes something w/ super glue, then on a future service a tech barely touches it and it falls off. Of course the guy who touched it last is to blame.
