  I have a J7 and I really like the suspension - it’s firmer than say a Range Rover, which I find feels like you’re driving a boat over waves. The Jaecoo has less body roll around the corners too.

  The Chinese cars are homologated and designed with high quality newer roads in China in mind, they usually take a while to adapt to old world infrastructure and customer expectations. The Chery group is pretty good at listening and finding solutions, so yes it might be less comfortable now, but that won't last long.

  Nice review - cheers - I have one of the first J7&apos;s &amp; the HUD display was a game changer for me - I&apos;ve had high end cars before last 20 plus years &amp; now I don&apos;t even look down at the display above the wheel - I don&apos;t need to.<br>J8 is on my shopping list when I need to change again as it&apos;s a company car.

  This is one of the best car reviews I have ever seen. I found this as I have just ordered a Jaecoo &nbsp;<br>7 ..... This Jaecoo 8 seems like an amazing car... The Design is now Jaecoo .....

  We have had our j7 phev for a year and love it. No problems or anything. The only thing that lets it down is the small boot which is disappointing. You say with the j8 about the ride, perhaps the tyres pressures were to high. Our j7 was delivered with the tyres over inflated by 10psi ! Made a huge difference when I corrected them. Great review 👍
