Luckily for us as believers, we don't have to understand all the ways of God in order to be saved.

I'm not mad at these analogies because we're just finite humans trying to understand an infinite God but the more we dive into His word, the more we make sense of Him ❤

I believe every analogy we come up with falls short. What’s really interesting is I don’t fully understand the Trinity, but I can recognize when someone tries to come up with an analogy that falls short. It’s like I have a knowledge of what He cannot be like, but I do not know exactly what He is like.

The trinity concept can scramble the mind just like pre destination. I just chalk it up as a great mystery of the Bible and put my faith and trust in Christ

I always assumed that no one took these analogies literally. Obviously they fall short because our human minds can never fully comprehend God, but I still think they can be helpful for pointing people towards the right way of thinking, especially when their shortcomings are pointed out. Is there another analogy we should be using that avoids all these flaws?

I appreciate this. But at the same time I don't think presenting these analogies is a problem as long as they aren't taken too literally or if the flaw in it is presented as well.

We know in part, therefore there are things we will not understand until we see HIM face to face! HalleluYah! 1Corinthians 13:9-10

It’s like having a Body, Soul, Spirit but your just One person for real… the same with God, because just like he said He created us in his Image…😊

The triple point of water, I think, is a good analogy. Check it out:

Water boils at 212F. However, if you reduce the atmospheric pressure, it will boil at 200F. Keep reducing the atmospheric pressure and it will boil at 150F, 100F, 50F, 32F.

But hang on! Water freezes at 32F! So at the right temperature and atmospheric pressure, water will boil and freeze simultaneously and therefore exist as a solid, liquid, and gas at the same time! There are videos of this happening; go check them out!

Also, it gets rid of the heresy of modalism. 😁
