  89 was THE year for live Metallica. They were unstoppable. Still love them today and recently watched them live but I would kill to have seen them live in 89

  Youth sure is a powerful thing. &nbsp;Kirk&apos;s playing is so damn clean, and you know none of them were even slightly sober here. &nbsp;Yet every note is clear as a bell. &nbsp;James not giving a crap about the health of his vocal chords. &nbsp;Lars using more than his wrists. &nbsp;Sobriety ain&apos;t got shit on invincible youth.
