  It does kind of feel that SRP has done a 360 degree revival as if you're not using a ceramic coating and you are still using waxes and pastes then this will be a staple in your cupboard for sure. Nice one Jon 👍 👌

  Used Super Resin polish for eons so I will stick with that. If it ain't broke etc....

  I struggle with this polish. It always leaves some white residue, no matter what method I use. Wet or dry.

  Thanks Jon.<br>I never knew there were 2 types of nearly identical applicator. Seems I have plenty of the one Halfords sells, because Halfords sells it.

  Lovely work. Ive been obviously mulling these over and im still a fan of SRP but effort probably gets wasted in winter. As the new glaze is so easy to apply it may be my winter go-to if we get a sunny afternoon. &nbsp;I bet on a dark blue car the newer product looks amazing, go grab a dark blue bmw or volvo and i bet it looks drippign wet opposed to the glass like shine of SRP (that i love on red cars). &nbsp;Every time I see a video on the socials advertising SRP Im always first to tell them, never stop making this. It truly is legendary and still, by the looks of it, cant be beaten by newer products entirely. &nbsp;As for old fashioned, they stand like a castle on a hill, still there, looking better than any new building ever could 100 years later. Plus as detailers, its one less variable! &nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o12iR4RKCVM&amp;t=1490">24:50</a> Mandatory product tickle made me laugh

  I like the look of SRP best for the reasons you state but Reviver looks great for before selling a car! Autoglym state (in their Rapid Ceramic Spray FAQ) that it is suitable for application over SRP so that would be the winning combo for me.

  Love these comparisons Jon! And as time has passed and I’ve watched more of you, the buff has become more important to me 😂…also Jon, have you perchance tried Carplan soaps? I bought Carplan ultra shampoo and I’m looking forward to using it, comes in a 5 litere jug for 18.99

  hi Jon just a quick word I gave my car a extensive clean and polish in June I finished it off with rupes advanced and turtle wax bead the car looked great, I clean it every week with touches and auto glam polar wash, last week went to Blackpool on the front for 4 days and the finish was destroyed they obviously didn&apos;t try salt water when testing for 12month life span or 100 washes. cheers mick

  Hi, I have a couple of sun damaged areas on my car, the lacquer isn’t peeling but it’s lost its shine, any suggestions before it’s too late, I have bought maguires compound and polish, is it worth trying these, many thanks
