  Play the Nathan horn on a USMC Diesel. The Nathan sound was tuned by a former leader of the Marine Corps Band!!

  Great video as usual Eric! One thing I noticed that was also another nice throwback to the Postwar United States Marine Corps trains was on the caboose. The number on the side of the new caboose of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/601750">#601750</a> is exactly the same number used back on the original caboose! So not only did Lionel pay tribute to the FA <a href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/212">#212</a>, they did the same thing to the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/601750">#601750</a> caboose. Very cool that Lionel remembers their roots, and pays homage to the originals. I love it.

  I watched this video multiple times Eric. You did beyond an excellent job putting it together and including the proper educational information as needed. A very special Thank You from the bottom of my heart goes out to you.<br><br>Additionally, as for the hospital cars of the Army, the Marine Corps does not have a medical unit as the Air Force or Army or Navy would have. As a matter of fact, the Marine Corps Corpsman were actually trained by the Navy and as Sailors they were transferred to the Marines to assist with the care of wounded Marines. Thus they also had no hospital ships or doctors who didn&apos;t transfer from a different branch of many of the services at the time..<br>I&apos;m not trying to rain on your parade, but simply helping increase knowledge in this specific area of military operations.<br>~ Ken

  I hope they do the Amtrak version of this. Silver with the 3 stripes like the early 90s set. I&apos;ve been wanting a scale version of my old starter set.

  Neat to see Lionel do a callback to the postwar era, another one they might do is the 205 Missouri Pacific.<br><br>Have the postwar original AA set and it&apos;s a good &apos;un.

  I love the old US marine aviation blue paint they went with. And when you sent the older train into an absolute piss missile was funny.

  Nice context work. Nice set up. Lionel does have all that heritage to draw on . I love it when they pay a nod to the past. Outstanding new acquisition! 🍾 They did a great job and it looks and sounds amazing . It’s a very exciting time to be in the hobby. As always a great video Big Guy. Your work gets better and better.
