Our parents used to say that video games would damage CRT TVs. <br><br>30 years later and video games are actually keeping CRT TVs alive.

I bought the Sony KV-36FV310 two years ago for $5 at a county sale. Drastic measures were taken when I was unable to find anyone willing to throw out their back to help me move it. I spent $300+ buying a 1 ton engine jack and straps to lift it onto my tv stand. Worth every penny.

The fact that you can actually get these tvs around your area is a freaking privilege.<br>I can't get anything where i live and i would literally kill to get a Sony set like this.

When i worked in the moving business we used to call them “Trini-TONs” cause of how much they weigh. Only smaller screen tv we needed 2 people to carry

My friend had one of these. I helped him move it twice and then told him I’d never move it again. It is the heaviest tv I’ve ever seen. I’d rather move a piano, at least you can get a hold of it. It is a great tv but be aware you may need to hire a team of oxen and enlist an Amish barn raising party if you ever want to rearrange your room decor!
