Layne arranged this in just a couple days - while he and his partner Tony were moving their Pattycake Studios to a new location. The new location has higher ceilings, which comes in handy.

BTW - no harnesses were used in the filming of this video. (Layne is an actual wizard - in special effects, of course)

I was a fan of this song when it was first released back in 1985. The 80s were my teen years and the best musically.

Thank you Klown for another great reaction to Voice Play. Go back & take notice to what is written on the tape as she snaps the recorder shut. Go in slow motion & you will see that it is Voice Play written on it.

XD sorry not sorry for all the Voiceplay requests. I'm so happy to hear that watching Layne has helped you in your beatboxing, I love your reactions and I will try to broaden my horizons XD. I can definitely say that I've learned so much from just watching your videos as well. Oh and it's awesome that Voiceplay has 200 or more videos so we'll make sure you don't run out, but we'll try to space out the Voiceplay reaction requests XD.

it's so great that our Klown is taking inspiration from Layne!

This Voiceplay cover is one of my favorites. The opening drone snippet is my wake-up alarm tone

Voiceplay have always been good at visual symmetry to the song.

But I do also like their simple ones too. One that isn't reacted to much is sh-boom and has Layne really showing off his range.

This is an adorable reaction and I loved “Don't laugh at that joke.” Too late, sweetness, you make me laugh when you tell jokes because you're just too adorable and positive and upbeat, and it just puts me in a calmer and more relaxed headspace. I love your reactions, and how friendly, kind, and pleasant you are.
