Great job, it is refreshing to see people on social media referencing true factual figures. I will be take delivery in 3 weeks of my Jayco RV lets face it despite the brands it is a significant amount of money. If we have learnt anything in the last few months choosing a manufacture who are financial sound trumps everything in my option. Lets also remember the substantial number of employees this "JUNKO" manufacture are employing and have done so for 50 years.

    Beautifully presented, made sense.
Early COVID I looked into buying a van. The construction at Jayco was woeful so purchased another brand. However I recently returned to Jayco to review new models and there was an enormous improvement in the build and finish quality so they’ve obviously been listening to feedback. If I change out my current van in the future I would definitely look at Jayco as an option. Having had multiple warranty issues on our new van I know what it means to have reliable service so having a broad spread of servicing throughout Australia is certainly an appeal and I’m sure that’s a big reason why people return to Jayco 😊

Among my rv’s I have had three Jayco caravans and currently a Jayco motorhome. I have loved them all. Yes there were teething problems, all promptly remedied. Servicing is available all over Australia. Budget has always played a part in our decisions but I give a big thumbs up to Jayco.

I think there will always be the Jayco or Junko debate, as people either like them or hate them. (Sounds like the Toyota saga) 😂 I'm sure there would problems in other brands as well but the reason we recently purchased a Jayco hybrid was based on budget & peace of mind in knowing that dealerships & parts are readily found around this country & have been for 50 yrs, which is a big thing for us people who live in remote areas. Keep up the great work guys. I look forward to your weekly clips. Stay safe! 😊

We love our Jayco. Found your stats very interesting! We are staying in a caravan park on the GC at the moment with family and are surrounded by Jaycos!
We chose ours based on layout, price and service centres Australia wide.

Hi guys from New Zealand. We have recently ( 3 months ago ) bought a Jayco Conquest on a Fiat Ducato. We looked at various new models and brands of motorhome. We settled for the Jayco Conquest as the quality finish and interior far exceeded the others. So far we have had zero issues. Jayco NZ and Fiat have support businesses throughout the country which was also something we really liked. Thankyou for another great video. We have been following you two since you began and enjoy each episode. As for the “Tall Poppy” commentators, the stats. speak for themselves. No.1 manufacturer, say no more! Keep up the good work.

Great video and very informative guys. We have a 2021 Jayco Journey Outback 22.68-3 from Brisbane Camperland which we ordered in 2020 and took delivery in Nov 2021. We have only had one major issue and a couple of minor ones. The major issue was the AC stopped working while we were in northern WA. We contacted Jayco and were given a couple of repairers that could have a look at it within 3-4hrs drive of where we were. Contacted the closest repairer and dropped in 2 days later. Found the problem (a 240v 3 way connector only Jayco uses) but did not have the spare parts available, so they contacted Brisbane Camperland to have the part available when we got back. The repairer (electrician) bypassed the issue to the AC and got it working again safely. We continued the rest of our trip back to Brisbane with no issues. Got the replacement part from Jayco and had the issue fixed. The van had now done over 50000Klms and nothing else had gone wrong. Love the van and we will alway get a Jayco in the future if we want. Well done you two and all the best for the New Year. Safe travels.

Our own experience with Jayco has been completely positive. When we got into caravanning some years back we bought a very small pop top new from Jayco. We had a few minor issues which were promptly and happily sorted by the service agents. The service agent told me Jayco were very good to deal with from their end and if something wasn't right Jayco would quickly give them the go ahead to replace/fix whatever it was. They even did a couple of things out of warranty as goodwill. We've heard all the stories about "junky Jayco" etc and it's fair to say they aren't perfect. But I hasten to add neither is anyone else including ones costing 3 times as much. Anyone who says there is not one thing wrong with their van I think is either very lucky, forgiving or telling "porkies". Your comment in the video about hearing more about Jayco problems than any other brands because they've got about half the market is very true. It stands to reason. From my own experience I bought another "high end" brand van which cost at least double the similar in a Jayco after we decided we'd like to do more off grid stuff and wanted a toilet and shower and it's been back to it's builder 3 or 4 times in a couple of years with, not major issues, but big enough problems that forced us to change our holiday plans to suit the van. A couple of the problems were as you mentioned in your video, from external manufacturers equipment built into the van that had failed. Our manufacturer has also been extremely helpful and have fixed everything we've pointed out. I won't name our manufacturer here and the point is they are all the same. The greatest issue I've seen is plain old poor workmanship. Some of the people working for these manufacturers just aren't pulling their weight and there is clearly not enough quality control through the process. My conclusion and advice would be buy the Jayco, pocket the extra cash and enjoy life. If something goes wrong, get it fixed and move on. You are certainly not an orphan. 😀😎
