Watched this as a refresher, started incubating my first eggs 3 months ago. Hatched out 14 quail, 10 roo’s 4 hens. Just put 20 eggs in the incubator 3 days ago. Oh, I keep 9 roosters in a different cage, only 1 rooster with my 4 hens. Been eating eggs since they were about 7 weeks old. The 9 extra roosters will be headed to the dining table next week. Waiting to see how many fertile before eating all my back up roosters.
You have taught me a great deal about both rabbits and quail. I appreciate the time you spend on your videos. Thank You!

The dirt pan was a hit with my Quail. I just got 10 5 week olds from a breeder to try this out. Watched your video went out and gave them a pan of some sandy dirt and they instantly went to town.
Thanks for the information

So glad I watched this video. Some people talkabout how hard their cages are to keep clean but your set up is petty perfect. Cant wait to build my own

Getting my lumber and 1/2”x 1/2 wire cloth this weekend to start building my cages I have a 10x28 leanto that’s covered with 1x1/2 wire cloth I use to raise Cornish cross in but those chic prices are getting up there in price plus I can’t breed them to replenish my freezer like I can quail, looking forward to this new page I am turning on my small homestead. Will keep my hens as I love sitting on my back porch watching them

Very informative and I appreciate your getting to the points and being organized. I am considering raising quail in the event of a SHTF since they are quieter.

I love that you get right to the point and are very focused. I did not know anything about raising quail, and I learned a lot in a shot time. Thank you!

Fun fact if you hang your poultry water containers at the quails head height it eliminates the mess. I hang mine with paracord and have never had to change the water except when it's empty 😊
