  People keep saying they had a couple of years to write this story, but if we’re being real, they should have been thinking about how things would play out, from season 2, when they decided to continue the show lol. They’ve had like 7+ years to think it all through. Just pure lazyness lol

  The biggest issue with this season is they played it far too safe. You feel no tension or threat it’s bland and vanilla.

  Felt like somebody watched a recap of the series in the background while cleaning and then got hired to write the entire final season. Its crazy the quality change within 3 years

  also all the “the mind flayer likes it cold” was for nothing. we got a yellow desert landscape and yes deserts can be freezing cold, but, nobody mentions “jeez it’s cold here” or shivers, or makes any mention of the temp change. so… why? he clearly doesn’t mind it room temp so what was the whole point of that?

  So nobody is questioning how anybody could just go on top of the church and spy on a military base? Especially during the cold war. Huh?<br>And an addition to your point at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmQ6o4Zrylo&amp;t=1284">21:24</a> :<br>The bullies at Eddies grave literally did more damage to dustin than the Mindflayer and Vecna to the whole cast. Where they drunk while writing? How did this cost half a billion USD?

  It seems like they just had a wish list of moments they wanted and didn’t care how they got to those moments
