  Released from prison after just nine months of a five-year sentence, Hitler works with party propagandist Joseph Goebbels to rebrand the National Socialists and broaden their appeal. But by now the Weimar Republic is enjoying a better economy, and people seem unreceptive to the Nazi message until the worldwide events of 1929 change the course of history.

  I wish I had any of the historians in these documentaries as history teachers in school.  the passion and story telling abilities are engaging beyond measure.

  This series is so good. The episodes give much more detail about the events than most other documentaries do. The production quality is excellent as is the writing and format. I can't wait to see the next one!

  This is probably the best historical documentary I&apos;ve watched. I&apos;ve learnt some things I didn&apos;t know. The adverts are a bit of a pain. But it&apos;s an interesting watch.

  One thing they said rungs true to this day. The SS uniform, with the skull on the cap is intimidating. Powerful. One thing i always notice in movies is the attention to detail.
