  We had the most incredible time meeting the warmest and most hospitable people our first time in North Carolina this summer. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you affected by Hurricane Helene.

  Bama boy here. Every time I see you guys it reminds me of my dear friend Baz from Yorkshire. Oddly enough we became friends through an Alice Cooper fan site. He was always asking about Southern foods. &quot;What are grits? What are greens? What is cornbread? What are hushpuppies?&quot; On and on and on. He was fascinated by Southern culture including college football. So in October of 2006 he and his wife came to stay with us for a week. We pulled out all the stops, we made BBQ ribs with baked beans, potato salad, slaw and banana pudding. We had a cajun friend come over and make Jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo and crawfish, my MIL made them vegetable soup and corn bread. We had blackeyed peas, turnip greens with hog jowl and baked ham. I can&apos;t remember every thing we fixed for them but we always biscuits with sausage and gravy every morning too. We also visited the Jack Daniels distillery in Tennessee, hiked though Little River Canyon in NE Alabama and went to an Alabama Crimson Tide football game in Tuscaloosa. It was so fun. Sadly Baz passed away a few years ago from illness. I miss him. We stay in touch with JIll, his wife, and hope to visit her sometime in England. Anyway, short story long, you guys remind me of how much he enjoyed his visit here with us.

  Obsessed with the fact that after several videos of Josh and Ollie being lightly admonished to address elders as Miss or Mr. in the south, the one time Josh actively called someone Mr. the gentleman was like “no”

  What is so wild is you guys probably literally drove through roads that are not there anymore. Sending prayers to my fellow Tennesseans, the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. Great video! So glad you guys got to enjoy the south.
