  I lost my father to bone marrow cancer six years ago. This was one of his favorite songs. His smile and this song remain in my memory. I wish I could write more heartfelt sentences here, but I think I've gotten used to it now. His absence doesn't hurt as much as it used to, but I feel a terrible craving for him.

  I grew up in a lovely home at the edge of the picturesque and lush Alborz mountains. My elegant, eloquent, and debonair father was a prominent judge, and this was his favorite classical piece. A few years ago, the man of a million fascinating anecdotes acquiesced to the silent, cruel ravages of Alzheimer's. The sight of my mom, his wife of 60 years, and this song were the only things that brought a twinkle to his increasingly blank, distant gaze. The power of music is immeasurable. It penetrates deep into the crevices of our soul and weaves into the very fabric of who we are. I miss my dad so much! I wish I could have just one more evening with him. I would play this version of the piece as the soundtrack of such a most precious occasion. I think he would approve.

  I feel sorry for the people who haven't heard these master pieces. Yesterday I was sitting on the rocks by the oceans playing some of these symphonies on my speaker and everyone starting sitting next to me and were just quiet in their own thoughts. I can tell that they've never really heard something so special
