  I think the thing I really like about this variant is that it's a simple idea, but you couldn't play it on a real board, making it a uniquely digital boardgame.

It&apos;s interesting that in this version of chess you can make the illegal move that puts your king in danger so long as you don&apos;t know about it. Fog of War is such a simple mechanic to add to this classic game yet it changes the experience so much. Makes me want to see what a Fog of War version of Go would play like.

  This is one of my favorite variants. I think you should play infinite chess though the pieces can literally go forever
