I remember when I was small and in the car,
coming in, my old man watching ball,
and when the day gone,
thought that he was super hero, oh he was so,
and so it goes, he grew old,
face, shoulders, bent forward, bow down,
weight upon this, shoulders broke, too large,
for him to bare it anymore,
he moved on --
Mother, she cried, she cried,
and she learned to hide it down inside,
oh baby, oh babies, oh babies,
oh, he won't be there

Listened to the audio a million times, but to actually watch tim and carter playing off each other during Tim's solo is something else, incredible chemistry

This was my first DMB concert ever. To be able to go back to that exact moment in time is priceless. Thank you so much for this! Absolutely unbelievable!

My fave dmb intro of all time, feels surreal seeing the visual of it finally ! Always felt like it was happening in some alternate universe

I had my ticket and got sick. My homie to this day bought my ticket and was baptized by this incredible music. He was changed that day. God dammit. Lol

The first 3.5 minutes of this video are the best DMB footage ever compiled. I’ve been to 50+ shows, not including this one. And this opener with this anticipation with this crowd and the way it was captured is easily one of the most iconic dmb live moments ever. In the bands history the only thing that could come close is the lilywhite sessions but it’s a distant second to this. It’s timeless, it’s epic, it’s perfect. If anyone who reads this has ever been to a single dave concert they’d agree. It’s, quintessential Dave, but not at the same time. This song to open, this venue, this moment in their run. All the words I just spewed are worthless... it can’t be put into words other than PERFECTION. Thank you chester, you’re more than just an uploader, you’re a memory maker. You are cherished. Thank you.
