  Sister Nancy tends to mix Stoicism into the Christian message by starting her message with it being okay if people treat you poorly.  Jesus wept; Jesus was moved with compassion because He saw the people as sheep without a shepherd.  Yes, were not ruled by emotions and we don't return evil for evil if someone treats us poorly but to conflate that with being okay with it when people treat us poorly is off balance.  Sadly, this is the type of attitude as to why many are leaving institutional forms of church and meeting in a fashion that conforms more to the biblical model such as house churches, organic churches and micro churches.   She often admonishes the congregation she teaches in to be in a local church.  Her opening admonition in this message doesn't persuade in this direction.  No my sister weE as believers should care how people treat us as well as how we treat others.  Faith works by love not by thinking a person should be happy in a work situation just because they are paid.  That sounds like the husband who told his wife one time that he loved her and that she should be happy with that.  I appreciate many of the insights that Nancy shares with the body but this one is way off.  Even in the world's work place you have a Human Resources dept that gives regular coaching on work place protocol which doesn't include the type of coaching that Nancy is giving in this video.  I'm regularly given trainings on maintaining a proper relationship with those I work with.  Additionally is this type of approach properly discerning the body of Christ when we are to honor and receive every member of the body of Christ.  I don't think so.
