  As a Serb I never knew people acted like that towards black people. I&apos;ve seen dozens of videos and comments of black people in Serbia and all of them were very positive, but they could be intentionally paining that picture, so they get more views as us Serbs LOVE when foreigners talk about how great our country is... Also, when I was raised, my dad always told me that one of the reasons the US is so evil is that they hate black people while here in Serbia we support all races, but apparently, it&apos;s not always the case. I still hope that this may be more of a Belgrade but that&apos;s just me coping

  Very sorry for your experience man, there are scumbags everywhere in every country, people who live in the past and dwell on things which are of no importance. I am ashamed for your bad experiences. I believe we aren&apos;t all like this. I judge a person by the content of their character, not their physical apperance.

  I’m sorry you experienced this. I’m really glad that didn’t experience it when I spent three weeks there in April. Going back in about a week and a half. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Maybe it’s because I was with a Serbian woman?

  I am Serbian living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I am really sorry that you had such a bad experience in Serbia with some people, you really seem to be such a cool, nice guy. If you ever come to Slovenia, Ljubljana, let me show you the best places. Regards brother.

  I am looking to go to Serbia. I am happy that people are on here stating their experience. It seems that traveling and spending time there has been an overall experience. I am excited to be going and hope that they stay open during this COVID.

  In some shops in Belgrade they like it better if you pick up one of those baskets at the entrance. For some reason unknown to me they seem to think that you will be less likely to steal if you carry one. I can imagine a case in which the ignorant lady checking on you at the shop does not feel like testing her English or you Serbian to tell you about it. Not sure if it&apos;s going to work, but you should give it a shot

  As a Serbian, this video makes me in same time sad and disappointed and also angry on that kind of Serbians. I am sorry for this. I know that majority of us are not racists. God bless you wherever you are.
