  I was just saying the other day how grateful I am that as a millennial I still remember life before social media and the constant cell phone usage and just the joy of going outside and hanging out with friends before all this.

  I’m forever grateful that I grew up in the 80’s. Our brains were never meant to be connected at all times to everyone else’s thoughts and input and to the horrors of the world.

  When the internet became cheap to access, we had the ability to do days' worth of research in minutes. Now it takes days to filter through all the BS and outright falsehoods to get a simple question answered.

  Start by putting off ALL notifications on your phone. I mean all of them. Except when you get a phonecall or a message from close family of course. Stop getting distracted by notifications and you will use your phone way less by just doing this. I don't even know where my phone is 90% of the time these days.

  Gen Z were not alone being guinea pigs. It is the entire race of humanity. We are all studied, lied to, and made into commodities. Not sure why these older folks in the video believe they are immune to all of this, by separating themselves from "this generation".

  I met my husband in a Cafe in person 35years ago and we are still very much in love because we connected to each other and the world without technology.❤😊 To be confident you need just one thing, and that is to know your own value.
