  The 850cc regs are damn near the opposite of the 800cc regs. They are just close in engine size.

A lot of MotoGP explanation videos (atleast, the ones I find when searching for them) on Youtube right now are just made completely with AI, so seeing someone like you actually go out of their way to appear on camera and write yourself a script based on information I assume you found yourself instead of using ChatGPT to do the work for you is honestly really nice. Way to go, Dan!<br><br>By the way, it&apos;s always been mindboggling to me how Rossi was able to handle the 990cc bikes while still winning 11 out of 16 races back in &apos;02 on a Honda. I could imagine how the paddock reacted to the way he showed he could instantly adapt to a new formula. Props to you for mentioning this era!

  2007 I call it the &quot;barcode era&quot; in which the era was THE fastest era in Motorsport history. LMPs were fast as hell, both MotoGP and F1 (rider and driver dominated the championship with a barcode car hence &apos;barcode era&apos;). Also a bunch of notable cars (such as 350z, 911, M3, etc.) came out that year.

  The firm that dominated the era did not use pneumatic valves. Ducati uses the Desmo sistema.

  The bikes themselves were good, the problem was the timing. It was right at the time of the 2007/08 financial crisis.

  I swear man the 990 era was something different, but also the engines they used. Seeing it live, you could feel the heaviness of these engines in your bones. You don&apos;t have that anymore.
